Fig & Bloom is a floral design house. Flowers are the category. Design is the distinction.
Three roles are open. One at the bench, where the work is made. One in the room, where people meet it. One behind the camera, where everybody else sees it.

Full Time Florist

The bench is where all of it actually happens. Cool room at one end, wrapping at the other, and in between a day of arrangements that each have to be worth the moment they are handed over.
We are looking for a florist with real hands. Someone who can take a photograph and a bucket of stems and make the thing sing, without anyone standing behind them. High Floral is where we are heading, and we would like you to come with us.
What the days look like
- You design and finish arrangements to the photograph, High Floral included.
- You keep the day moving. Nobody has to chase you.
- You treat the cool room as yours. Stock in, waste down, nothing left to wilt.
- You pack and dispatch so the work arrives as good as it left.
- You notice when the person beside you is under water, and you go over.
Who we are hoping to meet
- You have worked with flowers. We do not need to see a certificate.
- You can read a brief and get on with it.
- You are quick and you are careful, and you do not trade one for the other.
- Thursdays here are loud and Mondays are quiet. Both suit you.
- You want to get better — the big work, the hard work, the pieces that take two people to carry.

Cultural Producer (Flower Club & Events)

We are looking for the person who makes people want to leave the house.
Flower Club began as an evening with flowers on the table. It has become the part of Fig & Bloom that people tell their friends about. This role takes it further — workshops, panels, gatherings, collaborations, and rooms we have not thought of yet.
You will fill those rooms, and then you will host them. A room of strangers becomes a room with a pulse, and somebody moves a Thursday because of something you made.
What the days look like
- You build a programme worth clearing a night for: Flower Club, workshops, panels and gatherings that could not belong to anybody else.
- You go looking for the people, places and ideas that make an evening worth showing up for — artists, makers, speakers, venues, clients, whole communities we have not met yet.
- You take Flower Club somewhere it has never been.
- You make client and co-branded events that feel generous, and true to both names on the invitation.
- You host the room. You set the tone, make the introductions, and notice the person standing on their own.
- You turn a good idea into a smooth night, then use what you learn to make the next one better.
Who we are hoping to meet
You are the one your friends call when they want something to happen. You know how to put the right people in a room and make it feel easy. You are warm, curious and quick on your feet, with the confidence to stand up in front of a room and the instinct to make the night actually work.
You might come from the arts, from culture, hospitality, fashion or events — anywhere community gets built face to face. You do not need a particular background, or a little black book. We care about your taste, your generosity, and the nights people are still talking about.
Casual hours, so it can sit around a study or studio timetable. We are looking in Melbourne and Sydney, and we are happy to take somebody in each. Tell us which city is yours.
