Careers
Fig & Bloom is a floral design house. Flowers are the category. Design is the distinction. We are hiring for the bench and for the public face of the brand.
Full time florist
Brisbane
Melbourne
We need a florist who can design High Floral work without being walked through every stem. Studio days are production. Arrangements have to match the photograph, hold their shape, and leave on time.
This is a design house bench, not a shop-counter role. You already work at a high level, or you are close and want the seat that will get you there.
What you will do
- Design and finish arrangements to the photograph, including High Floral work
- Hit the day's production without being chased
- Keep the cool room honest: inventory in, waste down, nothing left to wilt
- Pack and dispatch so the work survives the van
- Help the person next to you when they are behind
Who you are
- Florist experience required. A certificate is not.
- You can work from a brief and a photo without a supervisor on your shoulder
- You are fast enough for a production studio and careful enough that the work still looks like ours
- You are fine with a busy Thursday and a quiet Monday
- You want to get better at high floral design, not stay in a mixed-bunch habit
Studios in Brisbane and Melbourne. Choose your city on the form.
Casual social and design
Work with Grace on how Fig & Bloom looks in public. The job sits next to High Floral Design. Stills, stories, and the small graphic decisions that make a flower company look like a fashion house.
What you will do
- Art-direct and shoot (or style) frames that match the brand, not a generic florist feed
- Cut stories and stills for the week without waiting for a brief on every post
- Work with Grace on the public face of the brand as we move further into fashion and luxury
Who you are
- Fashion or luxury experience preferred. Portfolio over a follower count.
- You can art-direct a frame, not just schedule a post
- Casual hours. Remote is fine if the work is strong.
