No two weddings want the same thing, which is why we do not publish packages. Some couples arrive with a folder and a colour palette. Others arrive with one photograph and a feeling they cannot quite name. Both are a good place to start, and the work is the same either way: understanding what the day is meant to feel like, then working out what the flowers have to do to get it there.
You work with one consultant from the first conversation to the morning of. Stems are cut fresh from Australian growers for your date rather than held in a cool room, and everything is made by hand in our studio. Tell us about your day and we will come back with an approach and a range.

We can style the whole day or only the flowers, whichever is useful. Table settings, ceremony, stationery, and the parts nobody thinks about until the week before.

A small Melbourne wedding in a room that already had character, so the flowers were kept quiet and let the space do the talking.
A real wedding
Toni and Jaycob, at Cru
A relaxed city wedding in a Melbourne wine bar, built around the one colour the bride already owned: the red of her ruby engagement ring.
Toni and Jaycob booked Cru after one dinner there. The room was warm and small and already had character of its own, so the brief was never to decorate it. The bride brought us a photograph of her dress and told us her engagement ring was a ruby, and that she wanted red in the wedding. That was the whole colour direction, and it was enough.
We built the flowers from pink king proteas, red alstroemeria, blush lisianthus and eucalyptus. Natives and garden stems hold their shape through a long March day and read well against brick and white drape. Eucalyptus garlands hung behind the ceremony, a crown of the same reds and dried natives sat under the veil, and a single deep bloom finished the cake.
Of the bouquet, Toni said: "I didn't know or see my bouquet until about five minutes before I walked down the aisle. They were perfect and they killed it."
